Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that HOFMANNs, a leading German provider of tailored cook-and-freeze convenience foods and a portfolio company of Partners Group, has been acquired by Compass Group. The transaction closed on 19 December, 2023.

It serves meals to millions of people and employs and engages with more than 500,000 people. The company specialises in providing food and a range of support services across the core sectors of business and industry; healthcare and senior living; education, sports, and leisure; and defense, offshore, and remote, with an established brand portfolio.

HOFMANNs is a leading German provider of tailored cook-and-freeze convenience foods and offers freshly frozen menus for communal, hospital, and social catering as well as private households. For more than 60 years, HOFMANNs business model has been based on culinary craftsmanship and owes its identity to a strong regional focus, high quality standards, and a sustainable corporate culture.
