Mr.
Pittman is a Markets
Leader
for Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice and is responsible
for leading service innovation and client development as
well as coordinating cross-border deals across Houlihan Lokey’s global network
of transaction service professionals. He is based in the firm’s Dallas office.
Mr.
Pittman has more than 22
years
of relevant public accounting and transaction experience working with financial
sponsors and corporate clients in the consumer, food, industrials, insurance,
and energy sectors. He has advised on domestic and cross-border mergers and
acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and divestitures with an aggregate value of
more than $30
billion.
Prior
to joining Houlihan Lokey in
2009, Mr. Pittman was a Principal in Lockton Companies’ Mergers and
Acquisitions practice, providing buyside diligence advisory and
transaction-related risk management products for private equity and strategic
buyers. Before this, he was Corporate Controller for EXCO Resources, a publicly
traded E&P company based in Dallas, where he was responsible
for SEC reporting and compliance and actively involved in private and public capital
raises and acquisitions across the Gulf Coast, Appalachia, and
Canadian
basins. Mr. Pittman spent the first 10 years of his career in public accounting
with KPMG and Deloitte, providing audit and advisory services to public and
private clients, where he was involved in initial public offerings on the NYSE
and NASDAQ.

Pittman holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas.
