Houlihan Lokey Has Acquired Milestone Advisors
The transaction which closed on December 31, 2012, will leverage both firms’ existing relationships in the depository, specialty finance, insurance, broker-dealer, asset management and government sectors, including ongoing mandates for the FDIC and GSEs. Milestone’s team has been combined with Houlihan Lokey’s existing Financial Institutions Group (FIG). Together, both companies have closed nearly 500 transactions valued at more than $100 billion since 2001. On a combined basis Houlihan Lokey is the No. 1 ranked advisor for specialty finance transactions in 2012 and over the past five years, according to SNL Financial.
