Mr. Forgione is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, focusing on financial due diligence and advisory services for strategics and financial sponsors. He is based in the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Forgione specializes in identifying and assessing transaction risks, including integration and separation issues. He has transaction experience across industry verticals including financial services, industrials, consumer, technology, media, business services, and energy infrastructure.

Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Forgione was a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. He led transaction and advisory projects relating to mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, seller preparedness, strategy, regulatory matters, IPO readiness, and resolution planning.

Previously, Mr. Forgione was a member of Ernst & Young’s Structured Finance Advisory Services practice, where he worked with investment banks in their issuances of securitized products and performed cash flow modeling and collateral analysis of ABS, RMBS, and CMBS transactions. He began his career at Deloitte, where he primarily focused on auditing banks and broker-dealers.

Mr. Forgione received a B.S. in Accounting from Fordham University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. He is a member in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
