Mr. Forgione is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s
Transaction Advisory Services practice, focusing on financial due diligence and
advisory services for strategics and financial sponsors. He is based in the
firm’s New York office.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, he was a Senior
Manager in Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. Mr.
Forgione led transaction and advisory projects relating to mergers and
acquisitions, carve-outs, strategy, regulatory matters, IPO readiness, and
resolution planning. He specializes in identifying and assessing transaction
risks, including integration and separation issues. Mr. Forgione has
transaction experience across industry verticals and is specialized in the
financial services space.
Over the last few years, Mr. Forgione has led
some of the financial services industry’s largest and most transformative
transactions and had leadership roles in the FRBNY’s involvement in Bear
Stearns and AIG. Mr. Forgione advised various large global investment banks on
preparation of their “living will” and led several capital markets front-office
teams in determining their resolution plans and developing their strategic
analysis. He advised a global investment bank on a substantial U.S.
Congressional Committee request for sensitive, proprietary information.
Previously, Mr. Forgione was a member of Ernst
& Young’s Structured Finance Advisory Services practice, where he worked
with investment banks in their issuances of securitized products and performed
cash flow modeling and collateral analysis of ABS, RMBS, and CMBS transactions.
Mr. Forgione began his career at Deloitte, where he primarily focused on
auditing banks and broker-dealers.
Mr. Forgione received
a B.S. in Accounting from Fordham University and is a Certified Public
Accountant in the State of New York. He is a member in the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
