Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Trade Informatics LLC has been acquired by Abel Noser Holdings, LLC (Abel Noser), a portfolio company of Estancia Capital Partners (Estancia). The transaction closed on August 23, 2021.

Headquartered in New York, Trade Informatics is a leading provider of equities trade cost analytics software, customized action-oriented consulting solutions, and a systematic trade execution platform. Trade Informatics provides solutions that enable institutional investors to retain more of their trading alpha, servicing a broad base of asset managers and asset owners through its two main product lines: START, its systematic trading engine, and TAP, its trade cost analytics software offering.

Abel Noser, backed by Estancia Capital Partners since 2016, is an industry leader in providing multi-asset class transaction cost analysis software and solutions to hundreds of institutional asset owners, investment managers, and brokers. Estancia is a Scottsdale-based, middle-market private equity firm focused on investing in the financial services industry.

Trade Informatics will add complementary analysis and experience to Abel Noser’s leadership in multi-asset class trade analytics, regulatory oversight, and trade surveillance. The combination will establish the largest trade data universe of its kind with unparalleled peer group comparisons while leveraging a centralized industry-leading software platform with enhanced scope, functionality, performance, and report customization.

Houlihan Lokey served as the exclusive financial advisor to Trade Informatics and assisted in marketing, structuring, and negotiating the transaction. This deal highlights Houlihan Lokey’s expanding capability as a leading advisor to the fintech sector and continued momentum in the capital markets technology space.
