Houlihan Lokey Advises Lightbox Out-of-Home Video Network

Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce the sale of Lightbox Out-of-Home Video Network (Lightbox) to Cattri. As part of the transaction, Lightbox received significant growth capital to expand its nationwide out-of-home (OOH) digital video advertising business and integrate Cattri’s technologies throughout its network, while allowing Cattri its first entry point into the substantial and growing U.S. OOH market. PC Capital and Altum Capital provided financing for the deal. The transaction closed on October 29, 2020.

Cattri is a leading OOH technology company based in Mexico City. Founded in 2008, the company has created a network of more than 5,000 displays in Mexico’s top shopping malls, public transport stations, and restaurants. Cattri’s content ecosystem includes more than 200 of Mexico’s leading advertisers and generates over 7 million views per day. The company has also developed the biggest private out-of-home channel in Mexico.

PC Capital is a private equity firm based in Mexico City that specializes in growth investments that have high social impact. The company manages funds, direct investments, and co-investments in Latin America.

Altum Capital is a leading multipurpose finance company that specializes in granting structured credit to small and high-growth businesses in Mexico.
