Andy Cairns
Managing Director Head of Middle East and Africa, Capital MarketsMr. Cairns is a Managing Director and Head of Middle East and Africa, Capital Markets. Based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi since 2013, he has led more than $750 billion of landmark M&A, loans, fixed income, and equity. Marquee transactions span Saudi Aramco IPO, complex asset monetizations for ADNOC, sovereign issuance including UAE, Oman, Egypt, and Bahrain, GRE and SWF financings, and private market execution for family-owned and founder-led businesses.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Cairns was Senior Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). While there, he was awarded “Best Middle East Investment Bank” five years out of six and “Best Bank for Financing in the Middle East” four years out of five. Before this, Mr. Cairns was Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and HSBC, where he led businesses in New York, London, and Hong Kong.
Mr. Cairns is a past Chairman of The Gulf Capital Market Association.
