Mr. Jordan joined Houlihan Lokey in 1998 and is Managing Director in the firm’s Financial Restructuring Group. For more than two decades, he has specialized in advising companies, creditors, and investors with regard to leveraged or financially challenged situations. Mr. Jordan’s experience includes conducting sales or divestitures of distressed companies and assets, advising key stakeholder groups in negotiations around restructuring and/or asset sale transactions that are completed in bankruptcy or on an out-of-court basis, either consensually or nonconsensually, and raising capital for highly leveraged companies in or out of bankruptcy. He has also provided testimony and subject-matter depositions on behalf of his clients. Mr. Jordan’s experience includes matters involving many global jurisdictions beyond the United States, including Canada, Mexico, Norway, Australia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Bahrain. He is based in the firm’s New York office.

From 1999 through 2002, Mr. Jordan was a member of Sunrise Capital Partners, a private equity fund affiliated with Houlihan Lokey, where he was involved in the acquisition and subsequent oversight of numerous controlling-interest equity investments in financially challenged situations.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Jordan worked at A.G. Edwards & Sons, where he executed public and private-market corporate finance and M&A transactions.
Mr. Jordan holds a B.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and an MBA with distinction from the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
