Mr. Makanji is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial and Valuation Advisory business. He has experience advising clients on valuation analyses relating to financial reporting, fresh start accounting, acquisitions and divestitures, FIRPTA, depreciation studies, insurance purposes, and tax reporting purposes. Mr. Makanji is based in the firm’s Atlanta office.
Mr. Makanji specializes in the valuation of property, plant, and equipment in various industries, including energy, oil and gas, consumer and industrial products, technology infrastructure, mining, and food processing. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Makanji was a Senior Associate in the Economic and Valuation Services group of KPMG.
Mr. Makanji received a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is currently working toward earning his Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation from the American Society of Appraisers.
