Chris Sweet


Mr. Sweet is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Capital Markets Group. His primary responsibilities include working with the firm’s clients to raise debt and equity capital to support general corporate purposes, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, growth capital, restructurings, and acquisitions. Mr. Sweet is based in the firm’s Houston office.

Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Sweet was a Vice President in the Alternative Capital Markets Group at Sagent Advisors, LLC, a middle-market investment bank based in New York. While at Sagent, he focused on advising family-owned, private equity-owned, corporate and public companies on raising private financing to support refinancings, recapitalizations, restructurings, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and growth capital initiatives, as well as for special situations. Before joining Sagent, Mr. Sweet was a banker at UBS Investment Bank. Prior to commencing his career in finance, he played professional baseball for a minor league affiliate of the Anaheim Angels.

Mr. Sweet received a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
