Mr. Caravaggio is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Acquisitions & Divestitures (A&D) practice within the firm’s Oil & Gas Group. He is responsible for engineering analysis and technical execution for the firm’s A&D advisory activity. Mr. Caravaggio is based in the firm’s Houston office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Caravaggio worked for Kraken Oil & Gas as a Senior Technical Advisor for A&D transactions in the Williston Basin. Previously, he spent three years as a Senior Associate in the Energy Investment Banking Group at PJ Solomon, where he focused on E&P A&D transactions and advised on restructuring assignments. His notable engagements relate to the following companies, among others: IKAV, Occidental Petroleum Corp. (Oxy), Whiting Petroleum Corp., Ascent Resources, and Sable Permian Resources.
Prior to PJ Solomon, Mr. Caravaggio spent six years between ConocoPhillips and Encana, where he was a Senior Reservoir Engineer. His responsibilities included spearheading subsurface and economic analyses for multiple assets across the Lower 48. His numerical subsurface modeling background was used to help forecast production for new and existing development acreage.
Mr. Caravaggio holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
