David Andrias

Senior Vice President

Mr. Andrias is a Senior Vice President and member of Houlihan Lokey’s Illiquid Financial Assets practice, having previously spent two years in the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Mr. Andrias has worked on a wide variety of engagements across multiple industries, including M&A transactions, fund recapitalizations, debt and equity offerings, and private placements. He is based in the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Andrias’s notable transaction experience includes the acquisition of Dow Chemical Company’s (NYSE: DOW) ownership interest in Dow Kokam LLC by Townsend Ventures; the liquidation of Plainfield Asset Management LLC’s remaining illiquid assets; the sale of KMT Group to American Industrial Partners; the sale of PC Helps to Baird Capital Partners; the $560 million acquisition of Winn-Dixie Stores (NASDAQ: WINN) by Bi-Lo; the $155 million sale of Weasler Engineering to Actuant Corp. (NYSE:ATU); the acquisition of Accuride Corp.’s (NYSE:ACW) Bostrom seating division by Commercial Vehicle Group (NASDAQ:CVGI); and Polypore International’s (NYSE:PPO) issuance of $365 million of senior unsecured notes.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Andrias worked in the investment banking divisions of Citigroup and Robert W. Baird & Co. Before attending business school, he spent the first four years of his career with John Hancock Financial Services.

Mr. Andrias graduated from Boston College and received an MBA from Cornell University.
