accounting, auditing,
and
financial consulting expertise to his clients. He specializes in preparing
financial analysis, calculating financial damages, and explaining accounting issues to
clients facing crisis situations such as litigation, arbitration, mediation,
regulatory inquiries,
and
allegations of financial

such reporting and resultant payments comport with relevant provisions of
contracts and license agreements. Mr. Daly, a recorded music and advertising industry
subject
matter specialist,
brings his expertise

and
thought
leadership pieces.
In
a litigation setting, Mr. Daly renders expert witness testimony or consulting
support on such topics as accounting and contract-related financial issues. In an
alternative dispute resolution setting, he has served as an independent accounting neutral and
often helps clients and their counsel prepare post-acquisition purchase price
dispute submissions for consideration by accounting neutrals. As
a forensic accountant and financial investigator, Mr. Daly
has led
high-profile
internal
investigations for such clients as WorldCom and Bally Total Fitness as well as
many internal financial investigations that did not cross the headlines.
Mr.
Daly’s contract compliance
activities (also
commonly known as “royalty audits”) test that licensees have delivered the agreed
services required and
correctly
calculated and paid clients
the
fees or royalties due to them.
Over
his
career, Mr.
Daly has successfully completed engagements for clients in many diverse
industries, including recorded music, filmed entertainment, live entertainment,
