Doron Neuman

Vice President

Mr. Neuman is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, focusing on providing financial due diligence and seller readiness services to strategic and financial sponsor clients. He has experience across a diverse range of transactions, including leveraged buyouts, corporate carve-outs, integration/separation, and cross-border deals. Mr. Neuman is based in the firm’s New York office.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Neuman was a Manager in Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. Mr. Neuman led due diligence projects, advising on key issues and value drivers affecting purchase price and expected returns of contemplated mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Neuman played an integral role in Ernst & Young’s national Transaction Data Analytics team, using data, technology, and advanced quantitative analysis to drive accurate observations and insights surrounding targets’ operational results and KPIs.

He specializes in identifying and assessing transaction risks, including integration and separation issues, and has transaction experience across industry verticals, including industrials, consumer and retail, technology, media, and business services.

Over the past few years, prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Neuman participated in more than 30 transactions with an aggregate value of more than $30 billion, including (i) JAB Holdings’ $7.5 billion acquisition of Panera Breads, (ii) Element Financial Corp.’s $6.9 billion acquisition of GE Capital Fleet Services, (iii) Lonza Group’s $5.5 billion acquisition of Capsugel, and (iv) Xylem Inc.’s $1.7 billion acquisition of Sensus.

Previously, Mr. Neuman was a member of KPMG’s assurance practice, where he managed audits of public and private entities across industries.

Mr. Neuman received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of British Columbia and is a Chartered Accountant member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia (ICABC).
