Mr. Vahidy is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Services Group, where he focuses on advising insurance-related companies on M&A, capital raising, and other corporate finance engagements. He has more than two decades of investment banking experience and focuses on insurance distribution companies (MGAs, MGUs, IMOs, FMOs, and beyond). Mr. Vahidy has also executed a variety of transactions for insurance carriers, insurance services providers, and insurtech companies. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Previously, Mr. Vahidy was at Beekman Advisors, which provides strategic advisory services to companies and investors involved in real estate, mortgage finance, affordable housing, and related sectors. He focused on developing corporate valuation frameworks, evaluating strategic alternatives, and consulting on benchmarking and performance measurement.
Prior to Beekman Advisors, Mr. Vahidy worked for Hovde Financial and Milestone Advisors, where he was responsible for evaluating the financial and strategic options of financial institutions, performing financial analyses and valuations of banks and thrifts, and assessing the impact of national and regional trends on the financial services industry.
Mr. Vahidy holds a B.B.A. from George Washington University and an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
