Mr.
Rinsky is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s
Real Estate Strategic Advisory Group. He specializes in M&A advisory,
capital-raising, and other strategic advisory assignments for public and
private real estate and lodging companies, lenders, and investors. Mr Rinsky is based in the firm’s New York office.
Mr.
Rinsky has advised on over $48 billion of real estate, gaming, and lodging
transactions throughout his career. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Rinsky
spent 10 years with Deutsche Bank, where he was a senior member within the Real
Estate, Gaming, Lodging & Leisure Investment Banking Group. Additionally,
Mr. Rinsky spent two years with ABN AMRO within the Mergers and Acquisitions
Group.
Most
recently, Mr. Rinsky advised the special committee of Ashford Hospitality Prime
with respect to the evaluation of strategic alternatives. Some of Mr. Rinsky’s
additional notable transactions include acting as exclusive advisor to Boyd
Gaming regarding the evaluation of strategic alternatives and the ultimate sale
of the Echelon casino development; acting as advisor to Brookfield Property
Partners on its take private of Brookfield Office Prop.; acting as advisor to
Blackstone on its acquisition of Centro Properties’ U.S. portfolio; acting as
exclusive advisor to Choice Hotels regarding the evaluation of strategic
alternatives, culminating in a leveraged dividend recapitalization; and acting
as advisor to Hyatt Hotels on the sale of the HRG timeshare division to
Interval Leisure Group.
Mr.
Rinsky holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from the University of Denver
and an MBA from Cornell University.
