Jeff Ackerman


Mr. Ackerman is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Business Services Group. He has more than a decade of investment banking experience at Houlihan Lokey spanning the firm’s corporate finance, financial restructuring, and valuation practices. He is based in the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Ackerman specializes in advising publicly traded and privately held business services clients on M&A and financing transactions across a variety of sectors, including facilities management, human resources outsourcing (HRO), IT services, business process outsourcing (BPO), and marketing and information services. His recent experience includes advising Angelica Corp. on its sale to KKR; American Utility Management (AUM) on its sale to RealPage; Hoffman Southwest Corp. on its sale to ORIX Capital Partners; allgoods on its sale to Varsity Brands; Merit Service Solutions on its sale to Eureka Growth Capital; Paramount Building Solutions on its sale to DW Partners; Source4Teachers on its sale to Nautic Partners; the court-appointed custodian of TransPerfect Global on strategic alternatives; and PC Helps Support on its sale to Baird Capital Partners.

Before joining the Business Services Group, Mr. Ackerman was a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group, where he focused almost exclusively on executing M&A transactions across a variety of industries.

Mr. Ackerman graduated with highest distinction from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he earned a B.B.A. with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics.
