Mr. Resnick is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Institutions Group, where he advises financial services companies on a wide variety of M&A engagements across multiple asset classes and transaction types. His transaction experience includes secondaries, fund recapitalizations and continuation funds, GP stake sales, specialty finance, and minority equity, among others. Mr. Resnick is based in the firm’s New York office.

Mr. Resnick’s notable transactions include advising Kennedy Lewis Investment Management on its minority GP equity stake sale; Bain Capital Credit on its $135 million recapitalization of two legacy funds and the sale of assets from nine additional legacy vehicles; Blackstone Tactical Opportunities on its majority sale of DRB Capital and USClaims; Alco Industries on the sale of its seven operating companies to Dunes Point Capital; Highland Capital Management on the sale of its $923 million life settlement portfolio to Apollo; the New York Wheel on its $476 million construction financing capital raise; and ARIAD Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:ARIA) on its $200 million synthetic royalty financing.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Resnick worked in the Global Energy Group of Citigroup’s Corporate and Investment Banking Division.

Mr. Resnick holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Emory University.
