Mr. Braun is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group. He specializes in financial restructuring, M&A, and financing transactions, and his experience spans numerous industries. He is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
Mr. Braun has advised debtors and creditors on a range of in-court and out-of-court restructuring transactions. His notable transactions include Sandridge Energy, Inc., Molycorp, Inc., Getty Images, Inc., Altegrity, Inc., The Cash Store Inc., Allied Systems Holdings, Inc., Nassau Broadcasting Partners, LP, Wastequip, Inc., and Deb Shops, Inc.
Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Braun was an Associate at Rothschild in New York, where he was responsible for advising middle-market companies in restructuring transactions. Before Rothschild, Mr. Braun worked at Development Specialists, Inc. in Los Angeles, where his experience included providing operational restructuring advice to debtors and creditors, valuation services, and litigation support.
Mr. Braun completed his undergraduate studies at Vassar College and received an M.S. in Economics from the University of Edinburgh. He holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
