Neel Chary


Mr. Chary is a Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Restructuring Group, where he is responsible for execution of debtor- and creditor-side restructuring transactions. Since joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Chary has been involved in a wide range of Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings, financings, and other distressed engagements, including General Maritime Corp., Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc., TORM A/S, Trident Resources Corp., Exide Technologies, Inc., Mark IV Industries, Inc., Delphi Automotive LLP, and Hayes Lemmerz, International, Inc., among others. Mr. Chary is based in the firm’s New York office.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Chary was an analyst in the Global Industries Group at Bear Stearns.

Mr. Chary holds a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Economics from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
