Mr. Tayal is an Associate Manager in Houlihan Lokey’s Accounting and Financial Reporting Advisory team within the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, where he guides clients through the accounting and financial reporting complexities of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and other international GAAP matters, as well as SEC reporting issues during financial transactions. He has nearly a decade of experience serving clients in different geographies. Mr. Tayal is based in the firm’s Gurugram office.
Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Tayal was an Assistant Manager in EY’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services team. Before that, he was a Senior Analyst in Wipro Ltd.
Mr. Tayal has assisted clients with accounting and financial reporting requirements on the implementation of new accounting standards, such as revenue recognition and lease accounting. He also has extensive experience in assisting clients in the month-close process and day-to-day accounting. He has also worked on several other projects, including performing diagnostics, GAAP assessment, quantification of impact per accounting standards, ensuring transition and disclosure requirements are met, and preparation of carve-out financial statements.
Mr. Tayal holds a B.Com in Finance and Accounting from Delhi University and is a is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
