Rich Bowman

Vice President

Mr. Bowman is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. He specializes in financial accounting due diligence projects for both private equity firms and strategic buyers and advises clients on the assessment of earnings quality, leverage recapitalizations, and GAAP accounting as well as complex acquisitions involving carve-outs of public and private companies. Mr. Bowman is based in the firm’s Dallas office.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Bowman was an Associate in J.P. Morgan’s investment bank assisting financial and strategic clients on complex M&A, recapitalizations through debt and/or equity raises, and other corporate finance initiatives. Previously, he was the controller for Russell Newman Inc., an apparel manufacturer and distributor, after beginning his career in Deloitte’s audit practice.

Mr. Bowman currently serves as a youth group leader in North Dallas for nearly 100 youths. He previously served on the board of directors for ReadyStart, an organization focused on early childhood development support services.

Mr. Bowman holds both a B.S. in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University in addition to an MBA from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
