Mr. Kushima is a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Industrials Group. He has more than two decades of corporate finance experience in Tokyo and New York, with a primary focus on the energy, engineering, water, heavy industry, chemicals, and infrastructure sectors. Mr. Kushima is based in the firm’s Tokyo office.
Previously, Mr. Kushima was a Managing Director at GCA Corporation, which was acquired by Houlihan Lokey in 2021. While there, he was also Head of the firm’s energy and engineering group.
Mr. Kushima’s clients have included JSR, Mitsu E&S, Kurita Water Industries, Metawater, Mitsubishi Chemical, Dexerials, JGC, JFE Engineering, Toshiba, Hitachi, Meidensha, Toppan, ITOCHU, Sojitz, Toyota Tsusho, Ricoh, and Panasonic, among others.
Mr. Kushima holds a B.A. in Economics from Keio University.
