Tyler Mayo

Vice President

Mr. Mayo is a Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Advisory Services business. His experience includes advising boards of directors, special committees, and management teams in evaluating various aspects of transactions and corporate governance issues and providing fairness, solvency, and other valuation opinions. Additionally, Mr. Mayo has experience providing valuations for tax and financial reporting, portfolio valuation, and litigation support. He has advised public and private companies on transactions across various industries, including oil and gas, mining, renewables, industrials, technology, entertainment, and consumer and retail. He is based in the firm’s Dallas office.

Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Mayo worked as a Senior Associate in Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services practice and as a Valuation Analyst at a boutique valuation consulting firm, where he performed litigation consulting services that included analyzing economic damages for trial purposes.

Mr. Mayo holds a B.B.A. with a double major in Finance and Economics from Hardin-Simmons University and an MBA from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University, where he was recognized as a Neeley Scholar. He is also a CFA Charterholder and  a member of the CFA Institute.
