Mr. Wang is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Corporate Finance business. He is based in the firm’s Beijing office.

Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Wang spent five years at William Blair, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, public equity offerings, and fairness opinions. His sector experience covers a variety of industries, including consumer, retail, industrial, healthcare, and business services. Previously, Mr. Wang worked at International Finance Corp., a private sector investment arm of the World Bank Group, where he was responsible for investments in Greater China and Southeast Asia. Prior to that, Mr. Wang worked at KPMG, where he provided clients with audit and assurance services.

Mr. Wang’s recent engagements include NAVIS Capital’s $225 million sale of Trio Engineered Products Inc. to The Weir Group PLC; the sale of Blue Horizon Hospitality Group to AmRest; Sun Capital Partners Inc.’s sale of Performance Fiber to Indorama Group; the sale of a minority stake in Eddingpharm to OrbiMed Advisors LLC and Sequoia Capital; Mekong Capital’s sale of Golden Gate Trade & Service JSC to Standard Chartered Private Equity; Baring Private Equity Asia’s sale of Noah Education Holdings Ltd. to First Win Technology; the sale of Kenas Pacific Furniture to Li & Fung Ltd.; 21Vianet Group, Inc.’s $225 million IPO; and Xueda Education Group’s $146 million IPO. He also advised the Special Committee of Boards of Directors for Winner Medical Group Co., Ltd.; China TransInfo Technology Corp.; and China GrenTech Corp. Ltd.

Mr. Wang holds a B.A. in Commerce, with high distinction, from the University of Toronto.
