Mr. Mody is a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Financial Institutions Group. He has advised on all aspects of corporate finance across a range of subsectors, including specialty finance, banking, private banking, non-life insurance, structured products, wealth management, and exchanges. He is based in the firm’s London office.

Mr. Mody was an Associate Director with Quayle Munro ahead of its acquisition by Houlihan Lokey in 2018. Prior to joining Quayle Munro in 2016, Mr. Mody spent nearly 10 years at Rothschild in both London and Johannesburg. During his last five years with Rothschild, he focused on advising financial institutions in the UK and globally.

Mr. Mody’s notable transactions prior to joining Houlihan Lokey include advising Pollen Street Capital and BC Partners on its cash offer for Shawbrook Group plc and the acquisitions of BSI SA by EFG International and of London Metal Exchange (LME) by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd (HKEX). He also advised HM Treasury on its review into the case for an RBS bad bank and has advised on the IPOs of Dutch non-life insurer ASR Nederland N.V., challenger bank TSB Bank plc, and structured products provider EFG Financial Products Holding AG.

Mr. Mody graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Business Science (Hons) in Actuarial Science and Finance.
