Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that 1KOMMA5° GmbH (1KOMMA5°) has successfully raised first-time bank financing to support its future growth plans in the amount of €52,500,000 from a banking consortium consisting of BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, and LBBW.
1KOMMA5° is the provider of the Heartbeat energy software platform and creates a virtual power plant that pools and networks customers' photovoltaics, electricity storage, heat pumps, and charging columns, thus greatly increasing the profitability of networked customer systems. The company also offers customers a one-stop shop for the purchase and installation of individual and intelligent energy system solutions.
To ensure the fast growth path of the company, 1KOMMA5° continuously grows its operations through the acquisition of smaller solar/craftsmen businesses. As of today, the company operates 72 locations in Germany, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Spain, the Netherlands, and Australia and has installed more than 100,000 energy systems. 1KOMMA5° envisages generating €10 billion in revenue and supplying 500,000 buildings per year with the lowest electricity prices and the cleanest energy by 2030.
