Houlihan Lokey Advises AIT Consulting Services

Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that AIT Consulting Services (AIT), a premier OneStream Software (OneStream) consulting firm and portfolio company of Four Count Holdings, has been acquired by WilliamsMarston, a portfolio company of Kelso & Co. This transaction significantly enhances WilliamsMarston’s technology services capabilities to better serve the office of the CFO (OoCFO).
Founded in 2018, AIT is a Diamond OneStream Partner, specializing in the implementation and optimization of OneStream’s corporate performance management platform. The firm is known for its ability to deliver high-impact solutions across financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close processes. AIT serves a broad client base that includes both enterprise and private equity-backed companies, and it has developed proprietary OneStream solutions that increase productivity and deliver measurable business value.
WilliamsMarston is a national accounting, tax, valuation, and transaction advisory firm serving pre-IPO, public, and private equity-backed companies managing rapid growth and transformation. Its team of more than 250 industry-leading professionals pairs strong technical expertise and a wide range of experience—including from the Big Four—with the passion and talent needed to deliver successful outcomes in the most complex and challenging situations.
“AIT’s technical expertise, strong client relationships, and values-driven culture make it a natural fit for WilliamsMarston,” said Sanjay Ramaswamy, CEO of WilliamsMarston. “With the integration of AIT, we’re now uniquely positioned to deliver more integrated and scalable solutions to CFOs and Controllers nationwide.”
The AIT team will work alongside WilliamsMartson’s existing accounting, tax, valuation, and transaction advisory teams to offer end-to-end solutions for finance organizations. The acquisition also strengthens WilliamsMarston’s geographic footprint in Texas, a high-growth market with significant demand for WilliamsMarston’s service offerings.
“We are thrilled to join forces with WilliamsMarston,” said Ryan Diehl, Ben Novak, and Mathew Shirley, Managing Directors of AIT. “This partnership gives our clients access to a broader range of services while providing our team with exciting new opportunities for collaboration and growth.”
“We’re thrilled to congratulate AIT on this exciting milestone,” said Stephanie Cramp, Senior Vice President of Global Alliances at OneStream. “The acquisition is a testament to its relentless commitment to innovation and the meaningful outcomes the company has delivered for our joint customers. We’re proud to have partnered with them on their journey and look forward to continuing our collaboration as they enter this next chapter.”
Houlihan Lokey served as the exclusive financial advisor to AIT in the transaction.
Houlihan Lokey is among the most active IT services advisors in the market, having closed 35 IT services transactions in the past 24 months. This most recent transaction marks Houlihan Lokey’s second closed transaction in the growing OneStream ecosystem and further strengthens Houlihan Lokey's leadership in the OoCFO technology solutions space.
