Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Activ Médical Disposable (AMD), a French company specialising in disposable incontinence and hygiene products, has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Attindas Hygiene Partners (Attindas). The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Founded in 2006 by Frédérick Requier and Philippe Pages, AMD is a fast-growing designer, manufacturer, and distributor of absorbent hygiene products, with a core focus on adult incontinence and a growing presence in premium baby care. Headquartered in Salinelles, France, with manufacturing facilities in France and Spain, AMD combines state-of-the-art manufacturing technology, high-performance production capabilities, and rigorous quality standards to serve retailers, distributors, and healthcare partners through both branded and private-label solutions.

Building on these strong industrial capabilities, AMD has delivered a decade of double-digit organic growth, driven by strong performance in its core French and Spanish markets as well as continued international expansion across more than 10 countries.

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Attindas brings together a portfolio of leading hygiene businesses. The group designs, manufactures, and markets absorbent hygiene products across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and international export markets. Its main business lines include adult incontinence and infant care products, distributed through retail and direct-to-consumer channels under both private-label and proprietary brands.

The acquisition of AMD would further strengthen Attindas’ European footprint by establishing a strategic presence in France, Europe’s third-largest market, while expanding its manufacturing capabilities, product portfolio, and customer base. The transaction is fully aligned with Attindas’ strategy of building a leading pan-European hygiene platform.

Houlihan Lokey is serving as the exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of AMD, including the Pages family, Crédit Mutuel Equity, and Frédérick Requier.

Houlihan Lokey’s role in the transaction further demonstrates the firm’s strong expertise in the health and hygiene sector and its ability to advise French businesses on complex cross-border transactions, while identifying strategic partners capable of supporting their long-term growth ambitions.
