Houlihan Lokey Advises Arcus Infrastructure Partners

Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that funds managed by Arcus Infrastructure Partners LLP (Arcus), an independent infrastructure fund manager with a focus on the European middle market, has acquired a majority stake in Powering Srl (Powering), a market-leading provider of medium and large power generator leasing for utilities and network operators. Houlihan Lokey served as exclusive financing advisor to Arcus and provided advice on all commercial aspects of the financing transaction, which closed in January 2025.
Founded in 2009, Arcus is an independent infrastructure fund manager focused on the European middle market. The firm specialises in critical infrastructure sectors such as digital, transport, energy, logistics, and industrials, targeting high-quality and long-term growth opportunities with an ESG and sustainability angle. Investments are made through their third fund, Arcus European Infrastructure Fund 3 SCSp, which closed with €1.61 billion in 2024.
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Fragagnano, Italy, Powering offers a comprehensive end-to-end service, including transportation, installation, maintenance, refueling, and post-service support. Powering operates a fleet of 1,300 generators and 345 logistics vehicles across over 50 locations in Italy. The business serves a sticky base of more than 300 active clients, with multi-year contracts contributing to long-term revenue stability.
