Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Astrodyne TDI (ATDI), a portfolio company of Tinicum L.P., has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by TE Connectivity PLC (NYSE:TEL). The transaction was announced on July 22, 2026, and is expected to close as early as the end of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
ATDI is a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced power management and filter solutions for complex applications worldwide. Headquartered in Hackettstown, New Jersey, with engineering and manufacturing operations across North America, China, and Southeast Asia, the company’s product portfolio spans power supplies, power conversion products, EMI/EMC filters, isolation transformers, power distribution units, and integrated power solutions serving the semiconductor manufacturing equipment, medical, defense, and industrial end markets. With nearly 70 years of power supply design experience, ATDI is recognized for its deep engineering expertise and close collaboration with customers to solve complex power electronics challenges and enable next-generation technologies.
