Sellside Advisor
Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Domaine de Chezelles, a century-old French company specialising in natural food supplements and cosmetics based on hive-derived ingredients, has received a majority investment from NextStage AM. The transaction marks a new stage in the group’s development and will support its next phase of growth. The transaction closed on 15 July 2026.
Founded in 1900 and headquartered in Chezelles, France, Domaine de Chezelles develops and distributes a wide range of natural products that incorporate royal jelly, honey, propolis, and pollen into food supplements and cosmetics. A fifth-generation family business, the group has built long-standing expertise in hive-derived ingredients and serves consumers through a direct-to-consumer model.
Through this investment, NextStage AM will support the continued development and transformation of the group, including accelerating its omnichannel and digital development, while preserving the company’s identity, heritage and commitment to quality. As part of this new chapter, Karen Vernet has joined Domaine de Chezelles as Chief Executive Officer to lead this next stage of development, bringing extensive experience across consumer, nutrition, and retail businesses, including Danone and Printemps. The founding family has reinvested alongside Karen Vernet and NextStage AM and will support the transition.
Houlihan Lokey served as the exclusive sellside financial advisor to the shareholders of Domaine de Chezelles.
