Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Goal Solutions (Goal), a leading provider of loan servicing, asset management, special purpose vehicle (SPV) administration, and analytics solutions, has received a significant strategic minority equity investment from BBH Capital Partners Private Equity (BBHCP), the private equity investment arm of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. (BBH). The deal closed on October 1, 2026.

Goal partnered with BBHCP based on its strong alignment with the company’s objectives, flexible approach to investing, thoughtful partnership philosophy, and long history of providing the first outside capital to privately held companies. The minority equity recapitalization adds a strategic partner to support Goal’s growth initiatives while preserving its leadership team, business model, and award-winning culture.

Goal is an innovative financial services company delivering comprehensive and customizable primary and backup servicing, asset management, and SPV administration solutions. Driven by technology, data science, and industry expertise, Goal is a strategic partner across the entire consumer finance lifecycle. Goal’s experienced leadership team has worked collaboratively for more than a decade, managing over $48 billion in consumer assets.

BBH is a global financial services firm that has partnered with clients to help them achieve their vision of success for more than 200 years. Today, BBH is the trusted and preferred advisor and investor for private businesses and their owners, wealthy families, and sophisticated institutional investors. Through its capital partners line of business, it offers multi-family office and trust solutions, investment management, private equity, and corporate advisory and banking services.

BBHCP, a private equity strategy of BBH, provides friendly capital solutions to growth-oriented middle-market businesses with a focus on providing the first institutional equity capital to founder-, family-, and management-owned companies. A flexible investment mandate enables BBHCP to act as a control or non-control investor and to structure investments with a combination of equity and subordinated debt securities, as needed. BBHCP targets platform investments between $50 million and $150 million, and the capital is used to support a variety of transactions, including management or leveraged buyouts, growth financings, recapitalizations, buy-and-build strategies, and acquisitions.

Houlihan Lokey served as the exclusive financial advisor to Goal, leading the marketing, structuring, and negotiation of the transaction and successfully achieving key client objectives. The transaction exemplifies Houlihan Lokey’s ability to leverage deep financial services sector expertise and senior-level relationships with capital providers to identify long-term financial partners aligned with clients’ strategic and financial goals.

The President and CEO of Goal, Matt Myers, commented after the deal closed on Houlihan Lokey’s role in the transaction: “This was the first outside capital into our business, so it was critical that we get it right. Houlihan Lokey played an essential role in identifying the potential partners, organizing the process, helping us triage the various offers we received, and getting across the finish line. As a result of the process, we got the right partner and right transaction to set the Goal business up for a successful future, and Houlihan Lokey was key to that outcome.”
