Houlihan Lokey Advises Chamonix

Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce the sale of Search Consultancy Group, a portfolio company of Chamonix Private Equity LLP, to H2 Equity Partners. The transaction closed on May 10, 2017.

Search Consultancy Group (Search) is one of the UK’s leading privately owned recruitment businesses. The company provides recruitment services and outsourcing solutions, placing permanent and temporary staff into a selection of industries. The company has a leading presence in the North of England and Scotland, with more than 3,300 customers and 460 fee earners. Founded in 1987, Search is headquartered in Glasgow, United Kingdom.

Chamonix Private Equity LLP (Chamonix) acquired Search in 2007 through the acquisition of a 3i Group portfolio. Under Chamonix’s ownership, Search has historically driven organic growth by increasing the number of fee-earning recruitment consultants and expanding its offerings across select verticals.

H2 Equity Partners (H2) is a principal investment firm that seeks to back and partner with exceptional management teams. H2 focuses on making initial investments of up to £50 million in medium-sized companies. Fund V closed at £200 million in 2016. H2 was founded in 1991 and has offices in Amsterdam and London.
