Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that private equity firm CI Capital Partners (CI Capital) has completed its acquisition of The Cadmus Group (Cadmus), a professional services firm serving domestic and international federal, state, and local governments and commercial clients to help solve the world’s most challenging problems. The transaction closed in September 2021.

CI Capital is a leading North American private equity firm dedicated to investing in middle-market companies with over $2.4 billion of invested capital. The firm forms partnerships with experienced management teams and entrepreneurs to build businesses through add-on acquisitions, organic growth, and operational improvements. Since its inception in 1993, CI Capital and its portfolio companies have made more than 405 acquisitions representing approximately $10 billion in enterprise value.

Headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, Cadmus provides strategic and technical solutions to support matters of global significance. The company’s practice areas span from energy, water, and transportation to safety, security, and resilience. Its largest clients include the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Homeland Security, United States Agency for International Development, Consumers Energy, and Con Edison. With 14 domestic and four international locations, Cadmus will serve as the base of a new, data-driven, global consultancy, with compelling opportunities to grow organically and inorganically.
