Houlihan Lokey Advises ENTACT

Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce the sale of ENTACT, LLC (ENTACT) to J.F. Lehman & Company (JFLCO). The transaction closed on December 15, 2020.

Founded in 1991, ENTACT is a leading national provider of environmental remediation and geotechnical services. The company’s robust suite of specialized capabilities address the unique needs of a discerning and diversified set of private and public sector customers located across the U.S. ENTACT’s nearly 30-year track record of excellence has earned the company the privilege of designing and executing its customers’ most sophisticated environmental projects, which often utilize multiple components of ENTACT’s comprehensive self-performance offerings. ENTACT is headquartered in Westmont, Illinois, and has approximately 600 full-time employees.

JFLCO is a leading private equity investment firm focused on the environmental and technical services, aerospace, defense, and maritime sectors. This investment strategy reflects the firm’s deep experience in and commitment to these sectors since the firm’s founding in 1992. Headquartered in New York, the firm has completed acquisitions with an aggregate transaction value of approximately $6 billion. JFLCO is currently deploying its fifth flagship buyout fund, which recently held a final closing on $1.35 billion in commitments.

Houlihan Lokey served as the lead financial advisor to ENTACT and its shareholders and assisted in marketing, structuring, and negotiating the transaction on behalf of the company.
