Houlihan Lokey Advises Global Dental Services

Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Global Dental Services Ltd. (GDS), Asia’s largest fully integrated, tech-enabled dental care platform, has recieved a $66 million in equity capital from a group of investors led by Investcorp, a leading global alternative investment firm and Hong Kong-based Tybourne Capital Management.

Founded in 2011 in New Delhi, India, and operating under the brand name Clove Dental (Clove), GDS owns and runs Asia’s largest chain of dental clinics and is among the top 15 global dental services organizations (DSOs). Clove has a network of 340 company-owned and operated clinics in 24 cities across 12 states in India and offers all six major dental specialties in each of its clinics. It has built a strong customer-centric brand with stringent processes backed by a proprietary technology platform that spans its entire value chain. GDS has recently forayed into aligners and smile correction treatments through its LoveMySmile brand and is uniquely positioned to provide dentist-led hybrid solutions at home and through its own clinics.

Investcorp is a global investment manager with more than $40 billion in assets under management and 13 offices across the U.S., Europe, the GCC region, and Asia. Investcorp is an active investor in middle-market companies across consumption-linked sectors and has made multiple investments in single-specialty healthcare in India.
