Houlihan Lokey Advises GO
Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that GO plc has sold its telecom tower portfolio to BMIT Technologies plc (BMIT). The transaction enables GO to focus on its core business operations and end customers whilst also unlocking proceeds that will be used for future capital expenditure and partial repayment of existing borrowings. BMIT has become the owner and manager of the telecom tower portfolio and provide ongoing passive infrastructure services to GO.
The transaction involves the sale of approximately 300 of GO’s island-wide telecom sites and a contracted built-to-suit (BTS) programme. The BTS programme will support GO’s ongoing 5G rollout and network coverage requirements across Malta.
