Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Gryphon Technologies (Gryphon), a portfolio company of AE Industrial Partners, has been acquired by ManTech International Corp. (ManTech) for $350 million. The transaction closed on December 9, 2021.

Headquartered in Washington, D.C., Gryphon Technologies provides a broad array of advanced digital and systems engineering capabilities for Department of Defense agencies. The company has built a strong reputation of providing model-based systems engineering, predictive analytics, data/computational science, and cloud engineering solutions for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, DARPA, the Missile Defense Agency, and other Department of Defense agencies. This transaction underscores the continued market interest in businesses that combine a strong mission focus with differentiated technology capabilities to modernize and transform defense capabilities.

AE Industrial Partners is a private equity firm specializing in aerospace, defense and government services, space, power and utility services, and specialty industrial markets.

ManTech provides mission-focused technology solutions and services for U.S. defense, intelligence, and federal civilian agencies. Houlihan Lokey served as the exclusive financial advisor and assisted in marketing, structuring, and negotiating the transaction on behalf of Gryphon and AE Industrial Partners.
