Houlihan Lokey Advises Mercury Security

Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce the successful sale of Mercury Security (Mercury), a portfolio company of LLR Partners, to HID Global Corporation (HID), a subsidiary of ASSA ABLOY AB (OM: ASSA B). The transaction was announced on September 19 and closed on October 18, 2017.

Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Long Beach, California, Mercury is a leading OEM supplier of intelligent hardware and software for physical access control. Mercury has over three million controllers installed at tens of thousands of sites worldwide, including at more than 90 of the Fortune 100 companies. Mercury's intelligent controllers, interface boards, and software perfectly complement HID's industry-leading readers, smart cards, and mobile ID solutions.
