Houlihan Lokey Advises PerfX Wireline Services

Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that PerfX Wireline Services, LLC (PerfX) has been acquired by Ranger Energy Services, Inc. (NYSE:RNGR). The transaction closed on July 8, 2021.

Founded in 2014, PerfX is a leading cased-hole wireline services provider specializing in pump-down perforating operations in North Dakota, Texas, and Oklahoma. PerfX’s mission is to optimize cased-hole perforating operations and efficiencies by delivering unmatched service quality through the use of proprietary processes and technology, highly experienced field personnel, and the latest in perforating equipment.

Ranger is an independent provider of well service rigs and associated services in the United States, with a focus on unconventional horizontal well completion and production operations. Ranger also provides services necessary to bring and maintain a well on production. The Processing Solutions segment engages in the rental, installation, commissioning, startup, operation, and maintenance of MRUs, Natural Gas Liquid stabilizer, and storage units and related equipment.

Houlihan Lokey served as the exclusive financial advisor to PerfX and assisted in initiating, structuring, and negotiating the transaction on its behalf.
