Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Phoenix Equity Partners (Phoenix) has invested in Redington Ltd. for an undisclosed amount. The transaction was closed on February 21, 2020.

Founded in 2001, the firm has successfully invested more than £1 billion in more than 50 companies across a wide range of sectors, backing entrepreneurs and management teams with bold plans to build great businesses. Phoenix is independently owned by its executives, managing funds on behalf of leading institutions from around the world.

Redington is an independent investment consultant, providing framework-based, outcome-oriented investment advice, research, and technology to some of the largest institutional investors in the UK, Europe, and China. The business has seen strong growth in recent years, with assets under consulting increasing from £115 billion in 2013 to more than £500 billion today.

Houlihan Lokey served as the financial adviser to Phoenix. This recent transaction further strengthens Houlihan Lokey's leadership in the pensions and wealth management sector, a core focus for the financial services team.
