Houlihan Lokey Advises Pink Jeep Tours
Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Pink Adventure Group, Inc., doing business as Pink Jeep Tours (Pink Jeep), has been acquired by Herschend Family Entertainment (Herschend). The transaction closed on June 29 and represents Houlihan Lokey's continued position as a leading advisor within the out-of-home and location-based entertainment industry.
Headquartered in Sedona, Arizona, Pink Jeep is a leading provider of exciting, memorable, and family-friendly adventure tours in some of America's most stunning and popular tourist destinations. Founded in 1960 and purchased by Shawn Wendell in 1988, Pink Jeep has grown to three locations (Sedona, Grand Canyon, and Las Vegas) with a customized fleet of more than 150 vehicles serving approximately 300,000 passengers annually. Its commitment to exceptional quality and service has garnered the award for Best Ground Tour Company for seven consecutive years by the Southern Nevada Concierge Association.
Herschend is widely recognized as the premier privately held theme park operator in the U.S. and is considered the nation's largest family-owned themed attractions corporation. Herschend's team creates, develops, and operates entertainment, tourism, and hospitality properties that currently span 23 locations in six states. Some of Herschend's owned and partnered properties include Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri; Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; and the Harlem Globetrotters.
Pink Jeep will remain headquartered in Sedona, Arizona, and will operate under the direction of Tim Miller as President.
