Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce the sale of Poten & Partners Group, Inc. to BGC Partners, Inc. The transaction was announced and closed on November 16, 2018.

Poten & Partners, headquartered in New York, is a global brokerage, energy consulting, and business intelligence company with operations in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Australia. Established more than 80 years ago, the company provides brokerage and research support for the transportation of crude oil, refined products, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and liquid petroleum gas (LPG). Its customers include national and independent oil companies, traders, banks, governments, and ship-owners. Poten & Partners generated 2017 revenues of approximately $60 million.
