Houlihan Lokey Advises Rockdale Marcellus

Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Rockdale Marcellus, LLC, and Rockdale Marcellus Holdings, LLC (collectively, Rockdale) has sold substantially all of its natural gas assets to Repsol Oil & Gas USA, LLC (Repsol) for ~$224 million. The transaction closed on January 19, 2022.

Rockdale was a privately owned E&P company with assets in Tioga, Bradford, and Lycoming counties in Pennsylvania. Rockdale focused on the development and production of highly productive Marcellus shale natural gas reserves across its contiguous ~43,000 net acre position. On the transaction closing date, Rockdale was producing ~70.5 MMcf/d (net).

Houlihan Lokey served as the exclusive financial advisor and advised Rockdale on all aspects of the marketing, structuring, negotiating, technical analysis, and closing of the sale.
