Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce the sale of Rogue Waste, Inc., and its affiliates to Waste Connections, Inc. (NYSE:WCN). The transaction closed on October 3, 2022.

Founded in 1938 and headquartered in Medford, Oregon, Rogue Waste is a leading vertically integrated provider of solid waste management solutions in the Pacific Northwest U.S. The company provides an end-to-end integrated suite of services that includes collection, transfer, disposal, and beneficial reuse capabilities for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

Waste Connections is an integrated solid waste services company that provides nonhazardous waste collection, transfer, and disposal services, along with resource recovery primarily through recycling and renewable fuels generation. Waste Connections serves more than 8 million residential, commercial, and industrial customers in mostly exclusive and secondary markets across 43 states in the U.S. and six provinces in Canada. Waste Connections also provides nonhazardous oilfield waste treatment, recovery, and disposal services in several basins across the U.S., as well as intermodal services for the movement of cargo and solid waste containers in the Pacific Northwest.

Houlihan Lokey served as the exclusive financial advisor to Rogue Waste and assisted in marketing, structuring, and negotiating the transaction on behalf of the company.
