Houlihan Lokey Advises Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours

Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has successfully entered the public loan markets with a €210 million TLB and €40 million RCF to refinance existing debt, repay a shareholder loan, and fund further capex investment. The transaction closed on July 9, 2018. Houlihan Lokey served as exclusive financial advisor to Scenic on the transaction.

Scenic is a leading privately owned luxury river cruise and land tour operator. It operates 22 vessels, serving customers predominantly from North America, Canada, the UK, and Australia through its Scenic, Emerald, Evergreen, and Mayflower brands. The company has experienced a period of successful growth of its river cruising product over the past several years and is now undergoing an expansion into ocean cruising through the construction of the ultra-luxury Eclipse vessel.
