Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that Sun Capital Partners (Sun Capital) has acquired Environmental Infrastructure Solutions (EIS), a portfolio company of O2 Investment Partners (O2). The transaction closed on July 20, 2021.

EIS is a leading provider of mission-critical environmental and infrastructure services, including abatement, decontamination, and remediation. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, the company provides federally mandated services to over 1,400 customers across the U.S. Clients of EIS include private and public sector institutions, such as commercial facilities, infrastructure, government, education, healthcare, and energy.

O2 Investment Partners is a private equity firm based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, specializing in the acquisition of majority interests in lower-middle-market B2B services, technology, and select niche industrial companies. O2 invests in businesses with earnings-growth potential creating shareholder value.

Houlihan Lokey served as the financial advisor to Sun Capital in its acquisition of EIS. This transaction builds on Houlihan Lokey’s market-leading position in the environmental services sector and deep knowledge of the environmental and infrastructure services industry.
