Houlihan Lokey Advises The Mochi Ice Cream Company
Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce that The Mochi Ice Cream Company (My/Mo), a portfolio company of Century Park Capital Partners (Century Park), has been acquired by a fund managed by Lakeview Capital, Inc. (Lakeview). The transaction closed on January 29, 2020.
This deal represents another successful transaction for Houlihan Lokey in the food and beverage industry.
Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, My/Mo is the leading brand in the mochi ice cream category in North America, with distribution in more than 20,000 retailers throughout the United States and Canada. The company has a history spanning more than 100 years and is credited with creating mochi ice cream, a handheld, portion-controlled snack of premium ice cream wrapped in sweet, pillowy rice dough. The company manufactures My/Mo’s mochi ice cream products in its custom-built facility constructed in 2010 in Los Angeles, California.
