Houlihan Lokey is pleased to announce the successful closing of a Capital Markets advisory transaction for Winsight, LLC. The transaction closed on May 28, 2021.

Winsight is a business-to-business event and market intelligence company primarily serving the restaurant and noncommercial foodservice, convenience, and grocery industries. Winsight provides research and analytics, branding solutions, face-to-face opportunities, lead generation initiatives, and content marketing services primarily through conferences, subscription data products, reports, and print and digital trade media.

Winsight is majority owned by the National Restaurant Association. Founded in 1919, the National Restaurant Association is the leading business association for the restaurant industry, which comprises more than 1 million restaurant and foodservice outlets and a workforce of more than 15 million employees.

Houlihan Lokey’s Capital Markets advisory services resulted in the company successfully refinancing its existing debt structure to provide ample liquidity runway and flexibility to support Winsight’s business plan moving forward.
